To all Flight Sim Fans,
This is the final scenery area in the Australian IFR series.
Scenery for the other states can be obtained from Compuserve's
FS Forum, in the Scenery Design Library, or from the postal address below.
Our next goal is to create a more accurate coast line, and to add
additional synthetic scenery. The coastline in Flight Sim 5 is only
roughly drawn to scale, with many inaccuracies. After putting so many
hours work into this scenery, it is disappointing to find Port Hedland's
runway floating on the sea, and Rottnest Island 11 miles inland to the
east!!
I hope you receive the same pleasure from flying this scenery as I did
from creating it. Although it is currently devoid of real-world scenery,
it does allow instrument flight throughout Australia. Because of the low
scenery content, frame rates are unusually high, allowing owners of slower
machines to fly this scenery with some degree of satisfaction, where they
would have given up long ago using the digitised scenery.
It may also be some time yet, before a commercial scenery designer is
available for FS5, so this scenery will at least fill the gap.
Thanks to the people kind enough to drop a note, and telling us what they
thought of our scenery (Two letters so far).
Thanks in advance to all those who still intend to get in contact with us.
Any feedback is good feedback. It helps us create better scenery for future
versions, and exposes flaws or errors that we may have overlooked during the
creation and testing periods.
......Enjoy.
